Be warned, a visit to Samos can mean love at first sight! Sun, sea and beautiful scenery, that's Samos. Although Samos is a well known Greek island, and loved by many, mass tourism still hasn't found its way there yet. Samos is still one of the greenest islands of Greece. The warm climate with its rainy mild winters is responsible for an exhuberant and unique vegetation and plant growth. Ancient forests and frothy streams, orchards, picturesque mountain villages and beautiful bays are there to be discovered. The muscat grape is an example of what a small island can be big in! The samos wine is famous throughout the world. This website will tell you more about the surrounding area of Agios Konstantinos, a village on the north side of the island.

The hinterland of Agios Konstantinos is a paradise for nature lovers who enjoy walking or hiking in the mountains. The Nightingale Valley is one of the entrances to many little villages such as Manolates, Vourliotes, Ambelos and Stavrinides. These can be reached by road or via special walking paths, which lead you into the mountains. For many years now, people have been walking in this paradise. So often in fact that you will find trails marked in red with arrows and little stone pyramids indicating the path.
We sometimes organise trips for small groups of people interested in the wealth and the peace of Samos. We go up into the mountains and you are accompanied and guided by people who know the island very well. We travel by jeep and start walking when we reach a higher point. There is also the option of an overnight stay in a traditional Greek house and then to continue the trail the next day.
